WSLR-TV, channel 58 (C Cable channel 5, Q Cable channel 8), is Ianistan's Fox affiliate, licensed to Slate Run. Its studios are located at 558 White Sky Boulevard, Slate Run. Its transmitter is located at Tollanderry State Park in Tollanderry. WSLR was Ianistan's sixth television station and fourth commercial station to sign on, in 1971, a few years after WVXV-TV. For its first 24 years, it served as a repeater of WVXV, providing that station's programming to places in northern Ianistan. In 1995, the station gained some independence as a Fox affiliate, gaining WVXV on its second subchannel in 1999, when it and WVXV turned on their digital subchannels.

In 1995, when WVXV took up Ianistan's Fox affiliation from WHNH-TV, it started Ianistan's first 10:00 newscast, NBC 20 News at 10 on Fox 58, changing again to Newschannel 20 at 10 on Fox 58 in 1998, when WVXV became an ABC affiliate. This newscast brought enhanced coverage of northern Ianistan to WVXV, a station that was widely known in the country for specializing in coverage of southern Ianistan.

WSLR's second subchannel simulcasts WVXV-TV for those who cannot ordinarily receive ABC programming in northern Ianistan.
