WABB-TV, channel 9, is Ianistan's NBC affiliate, licensed to Abbington. Its studios are located at 555 North 15th Street in Abbington and its transmitter is located at Sidereal State Park in Woodbark. The station is owned by Q Communications and is the only station which is receivable in all of Ianistan. WABB's news coverage mostly focuses on Abbington, Bozrah County, and southern Lisbon County. The station does have other news bureaus in White Sky, Walcott, and Scrantonville.
WABB was the first television station to sign on in Ianistan, on January 23, 1951, as an NBC affiliate. However, WABB was not always affiliated with NBC, being affiliated with each of the "Big Three" networks: NBC, CBS, and ABC, the only station in Ianistan to hold this distinction.
In 2006, Ianistan's PAX/ION affiliate, WIAX-TV (channel 62, Abbington) was shut down and made into a subchannel of WABB.
